Attorney Steve Albenze graduated from The Ohio State University in 2008 and received his J.D. From Ohio Northern School of Law in 2011, where he excelled in Trial Advocacy. Directly out of law School, Steve began his legal career with the Lorain County Prosecutor’s office, where he gained significant criminal trial experience.
Attorney Albenze then when into private practice and expanded his practice areas to include civil litigation; including Domestic relations, family law, personal injury and wrongful death. Attorney has extensive trial experience and has received numerous favorable verdicts for his clients, both civil and criminal, at trial. In 2017 and 2018 he was named in Super Lawyers and Selected to be featured as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star”. Further, in 2017 Attorney Albenze became certified to represent Defendant’s facing Capital Murder charges and is licensed in the Northern District of Ohio Federal Court.

- State v.Taylor, 2014-Ohio-2001 OHIO 9TH DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS: Attorney for Appellee, the State of Ohio. Attorney Albenze argued successfully before the 9th District Court of Appeals regarding the fundamental right of procreation. The case was featured nationally by such networks as CNN and Fox News.
- SOUTHWEST GENERAL HEALTH CENTER vs. CARESOURCE: Cuyahoga Common Pleas Case No. CV-13-80066: Attorney Albenze acted as lead trial counsel for Plaintiff, Southwest General Hospital, against CareSource in a civil trial relating to a contract dispute that affected thousands of patients.
- STATE OF OHIO V/S NICOLE J VILLEGAS Lorain County Court of Common Pleas Case Number: 15CR09133: Attorney Albenze acted as Trial counsel for Defendant Nicole Villegas, charged with Aggravated Murder.
